Welcome to United Learning Institute. By using our tutoring services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately stop using the service.
Services Provided
United Learning Institute offers tutoring services for students in various subjects and educational levels. Our services include one-on-one tutoring, group sessions, online learning, homework help, and test preparation. Specific details of the services provided will be outlined in the individual tutoring agreement.
Tutoring Sessions
Scheduling: Tutoring sessions are scheduled based on mutual availability. You agree to provide accurate information about your availability when booking sessions.
Cancellations & Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least [24/48] hours in advance. Failure to do so after 3rd time may result in tutor not proceeding with the specific student and a new tutor will be assigned.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for a session, the session will end at the originally scheduled time, and the full fee will apply.
Payment Terms
Fees: All tutoring fees will be clearly outlined before the start of tutoring services. Payment is due in accordance with the payment schedule provided.
Methods of Payment: We accept [visa, master card, credit cards, and PayPal]. Payments must be made on scheduled date, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Refunds: Refunds will be no refunds unless services were not rendered as agreed.
Tutor and Student Conduct
Professional Behavior: Both tutors and students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional manner. Any form of abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of tutoring services.
Student Responsibilities: Students are responsible for attending scheduled sessions, completing assigned tasks, and actively engaging in the learning process.
Intellectual Property
All educational materials, including worksheets, lesson plans, videos, and resources provided by United Learning Institute, remain the intellectual property of United Learning Institute or the respective creators. These materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission.
Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information, including student data, will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law. For detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
United Learning Institute is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of tutoring services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific tutoring session in question.
Termination of Services
Either party (student or United Learning Institute) may terminate the tutoring relationship at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice. If services are terminated, all outstanding payments must be settled immediately.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold United Learning Institute, its affiliates, employees, and tutors harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the tutoring services.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Maryland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Maryland.
Modifications to Terms
United Learning Institute reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated version will take effect immediately.
